Merart’s approach to stone and brick production is built on material expertise, original design, controlled manufacturing, and hands-on application experience. We combine realistic textures and colour studies with technical performance, developing solutions that enhance both the appearance and long-term durability of architectural projects.
Merart manufactured stone and brick products are designed with a lightweight structure that avoids placing unnecessary loads on buildings. Their low weight facilitates installation, reduces the load applied to the surface, and, when installed correctly, helps minimise the risk of detachment from the wall.
The raw materials used in production are prepared using technological systems developed by Merart. All materials undergo laboratory quality testing before being approved for production.
The back surface of each product is designed to create a strong bond with the adhesive mortar. Special recesses and surface geometry allow the mortar to integrate more effectively with the stone.
This structure increases the product’s grip on the wall and provides a reliable foundation for long-lasting applications.
Controlled air pockets created within the stone during production contribute to its lightweight structure while supporting its thermal and acoustic performance.
As a result, Merart products add visual character to walls while also contributing to the overall performance of the building envelope.
The natural appearance of stone is shaped by surface depth, colour transitions, shadows, and the balanced repetition of individual forms.
Merart collections are developed using references taken from natural stone and brick surfaces. Realistic moulding processes and layered colouring techniques prevent surfaces from appearing flat, artificial, or repetitive.
Every building has its own scale, architectural language, and purpose. For this reason, we develop a broad product collection that responds to different architectural requirements rather than relying on a single texture or form.
With more than 100 stone and brick models available in a variety of sizes, textures, and colours, Merart offers extensive design freedom for residential and commercial buildings, interiors, façades, and landscape applications.
The appearance of a genuine stone wall should continue naturally across corners and returns, not only across flat surfaces.
Corner elements produced for Merart manufactured stone and brick models conceal visible joints, allow the cladding to continue seamlessly around the wall, and create a more natural and integrated finish.
Architects and designers need to visualise selected surfaces accurately before a project is built.
Digital texture files for Merart products are prepared for use with architectural design and visualisation software such as Lumion, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, and Archicad. These files are provided free of charge to industry professionals.
This allows Merart products to be incorporated into presentations and three-dimensional visualisations with accurate colour, scale, and texture properties.
Every stage of production, from raw material preparation and moulding to colouring and final quality control, is monitored in accordance with established standards.
Merart products are manufactured in line with the company’s applicable ISO, TSE, and CE standards and are regularly inspected for dimensions, surface quality, colour consistency, and physical performance.
The Merart manufactured stone factory operates across a total area of 11,000 m², including 4,500 m² of indoor facilities and 6,400 m² of outdoor space.
Its extensive production infrastructure, wide model range, and realistic colour and texture development capabilities enable Merart to respond to projects of different scales, from individual applications to large architectural developments.
The quality of the final result depends not only on selecting the right product but also on resolving every installation detail correctly.
Merart provides professional support regarding product selection, quantity calculations, corner solutions, adhesive use, and installation details. This helps ensure that the character of the surface presented during the design stage is maintained in the completed application.
